I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I grew up in a town near the lovely Lake of the Clouds, Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior. Now, I'm below the bridge. While I do love being a "yooper", I find that it's easier to be myself here. I'm currently married to a Transwoman, Jasmine. Who is beautiful, loving and doesn't like sports. See, where I'm from you get married to a guy who likes sports, hunting, trucks and that. Have a couple kids and a nice house. That's just not for me and it never has been. Give me a loft with some writing materials and I'm good.

I got a degree in social work and found it wasn't for me. I get a lot of people asking why. Well, both organizations I've worked for let me down. Too many people on a moral trip. Not my thing. So, now I'm trying to find myself a new career and feel lost. Right now, I'm making more doing an overnight retail job.

I am hard of hearing, which makes for a lot of fun times in my house. But, I'm way too stubborn to get a hearing aid. I blame being stubborn on my Syrian mom and English dad. Two very stubborn ethnic backgrounds rolled into one.
Oh, but don't let that fool you, I'm really nice.
